The North Cape 31-Fisher is a GRP sailing yacht , traditionally built, with shallow draft through the use of a retractable centreboard.
Construction is traditional (handlayup full glass hull) and very sturdy.
Characteristically it has it’s living quarters in front of a huge, double, cockpit.
It’s classic shape and gentle lines allow for friendly sailing behaviour on open sea.
It’s draft of 65 cm only makes cruising shallow rivers and drying out easy.
Boathandling can mostly be done without leaving the cockpit,
which can easily accomodate contain ten people or more.
Standard rigging is a traditional gaffrig (sloop or cutterrig) with wooden mast and spars.
However, a modern aluminium toprig is also available.
Inside you’ll find light and cosy quarters for 4 persons, in two separate cabins,
with a spacious galley and headroom of 1,84 m.
Each yacht is custom built to owners’ wishes leaving you a choice
of a wide variety of options.
